The Details
Theres a new and very troubling legislative development underway on Capitol Hill. Congress is pushing for national healthcare coverage including mandatory coverage for abortions. Abortion would be considered a health benefit in both government and private insurance plans. This is outrageous! The American Center for Law and Justice is mobilizing and demanding that Congress insert a critical exemption REMOVE abortion services from mandatory coverage. Stand with the ACLJ to keep abortion services out of national healthcare legislation. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition to Stop an Abortion Mandate.
CHOOSING LIFE
A DOCUMENTARY FILM
Be Heard Project and the ACLJ have begun production on a new documentary tentatively titled Choosing Life that tackles the subject of abortion. While we work ardently to change the law of the land, we must also try to change the hearts and minds of the next generation. This documentary, told from the perspective of an abortion survivor, will be an important part of our arsenal for the future. There have already been over 40 people interviewed but we are currently looking for more pro-life related stories. We are particularly looking for abortion survivors, those people who were almost aborted. Do you personally have a story or know someone who does?
